As a Hazmat Technician, you will support emergency spill response, environmental cleanup, industrial cleaning, hydro excavation, vacuum truck operations and remediation projects throughout Michigan. This is a hands-on field position that requires physical work, attention to safety and availability for emergency response.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Rotating on-call availability for evening and weekend emergencies After-hours emergency calls are dispatched from home

Our in-house training program provides the certifications and hands-on instruction needed for the position, including 40-hour
HAZWOPER
training.
Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency spills and environmental incidents Perform spill containment, cleanup and site restoration Assist with industrial cleaning and vacuum truck operations Support excavation and environmental remediation projects Operate and maintain trucks, heavy equipment, tools and response equipment
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying conditions Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule Dependable team player with a positive attitude Strong organizational and communication skills Hazmat, industrial cleaning or heavy-equipment experience preferred Basic mechanical skills preferred
