This includes removing residue, cleaning tanks and decks, and ensuring all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare barge tanks, holds, and decks for loading and transport Use pressure washers, pumps, hoses, hand tools, and cleaning chemicals as needed Remove cargo residue and debris safely and dispose of waste materials properly Follow company protocols for confined space entry and respiratory protection Set up and tear down equipment according to job requirements Complete pre- and post-cleaning checklists and inspection reports Work in coordination with team members and communicate job progress to supervisor Wear proper PPE and follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical Able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and be on your feet for long periods Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed Prior experience in marine, industrial, or tank cleaning is a plus TWIC card preferred or willingness to obtain
