• Experience with furnaces, fasteners, shakers is PLUS!!!!!!
• This job is very labor intensive; standing on feet for long periods of time, working in hot heat environments (over 100 degrees).
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Requires specific knowledge of general heat treat requirements for aluminum, titanium, nickel based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels
• Must be familiar with Heat Treat scheduling to ensure proper sequence for product through heat treating.
• Must be familiar with the operation, adjustment and routine maintenance of all furnace controllers.
• Under the direction of an operator will batch loads for optimum productivity
• Will be trained and under guidance will set thermal couple, prepare load per optimal heat distribution of load
• Unload furnaces
• Responsible for heat treat and process furnace accuracy and uniformity surveys
• Ability to move parts on and off pallets
• Interpret hardness rating utilizing measuring tools and standards
• Places work piece into a heating furnace for a specified period of time
• Will be responsible for Hardness testing, utilizing specific calibrated hardness testing equipment
• Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

Skill/Knowledge:

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years of relative manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Must be certified to operate a forklift to approved O.S.H.A. standards
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Pay:

$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
