Responsible for operating automated butt-welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components in a manufacturing environment. This role involves machine setup, tooling changes, quality inspections, material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work area while ensuring compliance with established production processes and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds (loading weld machine, not actually doing hand welds) Set up correct tooling for machine Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts Maintains a clean and organized workstation / 5S Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications. Load and unload material using hoist / moving finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack.

Desired Background/Skills:

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience operating automated welding equipment or similar industrial machinery. Ability to perform quality inspections and follow detailed specifications and work instructions. Experience safely using material handling equipment, including hoists and pallet jacks.
