Work four 10-hour days and have every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. ZI Machine Manufacturing is looking for a dependable CNC Machine Operator / Machinist to join our team in El Dorado Hills. We've been in business since 1983 , specializing in precision CNC turning and milling primarily for the Aerospace and Defense industries . Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Loading and unloading CNC machines Running established CNC programs Monitoring machines during production Performing basic in-process inspections Making basic tool and wear offset adjustments Measuring parts with calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment Following setup sheets, work instructions and inspection requirements Identifying machining or quality problems and communicating them to the Setup Machinist or Quality Control Keeping machines and work areas clean and organized Moving between CNC mills and lathes as production needs require What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who wants to work and wants to get better at machining.

You should have:

CNC machine operating experience preferred Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus Ability to read basic blueprints Basic understanding of calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools Ability to follow setup sheets and written instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Good attention to detail Willingness to learn both CNC milling and turning Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Don't have years of experience? That's okay. You do not need to be an expert machinist to apply. If you have CNC operating experience, a good attitude, show up every day, pay attention to detail and genuinely want to learn, we're willing to help you develop your machining skills.
