Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manual Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, modifying, and repairing metal components using manual machining techniques. Responsibilities Operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, and mills to produce precise metal components according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements Set up and calibrate machinery, including machine tooling, fixtures, and measurement instruments for optimal performance Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standard Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes to verify dimensions and surface finishes meet standards Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling power tools and machining equipment Requirements Proven experience in manual machining processes such as lathe work, milling, grinding, and drilling Strong knowledge of machining tools, tooling setups, and machine calibration techniques Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting complex technical drawings Ability to operate measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments for quality control Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and blueprint interpretation Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material quantitie Commitment to lean manufacturing principles for efficient workflow management Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Join us as a Manual Machinist where your craftsmanship will directly impact the quality of our products.
