PURPOSE AND PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machine tools to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and established manufacturing procedures. The Machinist will work with various CNC equipment and machining processes to produce quality parts that support the manufacturing and assembly of aerospace components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
NTMA, machining, or other relevant technical certification is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other equipment as required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC machining, machine setup, tooling, offsets, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and quality inspection . Candidates with experience operating multiple types of CNC equipment, including mills and lathes/turning centers, are strongly preferred. The ability to troubleshoot machining issues, work independently, maintain production schedules, and work significant overtime is essential. #IND1
