Operator, Set-Up with correct tooling, work-holding, and material, ensuring proper alignment and calibration Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Ability to use precision measuring tools, ie: calipers and micrometers Mathematical Skills for calculations related to dimensions and cutting parameters Ensure quality standards are met often using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to create the necessary machine programs Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or programming errors Routine PM's to ensure optimal performance
