: Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating tool room machines, performing shop mathematics, and conducting layout work for progressive machining and assembly operations. This role involves working with torque products, equipment, complicated apparatus, or engaging in experimental and development work. Additional responsibilities include performing heat treating and case hardening, as well as potentially testing nonstandard products.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate all tool room machines.
Perform shop mathematics.
Conduct layout work for progressive machining and assembly operations on torque products, equipment, complicated apparatus, or experimental and development work.
Perform heat treating and case hardening.
Test nonstandard products as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing company or TMA certification.
Ability to program and run Prototrak lathes and mills.
Experience using optical comparators and other precision measuring equipment.
Will consider recent graduates with a TMA certification in lieu of experience.
Willing to learn how to program Prototrak lathes and mills.
