We're looking for machinists who take real pride in their craft. At WALCO Tool & Engineering, we build high-precision components - and if you enjoy hands-on work, you will fit right in.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mill machining centers Load parts, cycle machine and detect malfunctions in operations Perform highly diversified and complex contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping Interpret blueprints to produce high quality parts Maintain tight tolerances Inspect work to verify conformance of finished product Perform minor machine maintenance such as maintaining coolants What We're Looking for: 2+ years of CNC vertical mill setup and operation Solid blueprint reading skills Ability to follow written work instructions Working knowledge of G & M codes Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs. Standard measuring tools required Why WALCO?
