Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Okuma Lathe Set-up / Operator and or set-up to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Programming or editing on this machine is a plus and would warrant a higher wage. Duties
- Set-up /Operate CNC Okuma Lathes to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications Requirements
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Mechanical knowledge for machine setup and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of machining processes and tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculation
