Job Description
CNC Machinist Our client in Billerica, MA is looking for a CNC machinist work on a team in a Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist Understand and observe all safety requirements related to manufacturing Follow all company policies and procedures, such as those documented under AS9100 guidelines and the company handbook Operate machining and cutting equipment following job instructions, delivery date, and quality requirements Accurately complete in process inspection and job detail paperwork Contribute to continuous improvement via Lean Manufacturing techniques Maintain neat and organized work space Maintain tool and fixture supplies Perform and log relevant and routine machine maintenance Other duties as assigned Qualifications of the CNC Machinist High school graduate, trade school experience preferred Two years minimum relevant experience Read, write and speak the English language with comprehension skills sufficient to understand safety standards and job performance expectations Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to lift 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Monday through Friday on site.
