OUR SHOP HAS AIR CONDITIONING AND HEAT

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gear Cutter or machinist looking for a career change. You will be responsible for cutting and shaping gears ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute directly to the production of high-quality components. Pay is directly related to your experience. Duties Operate gear cutting machines, including gear hobbing and shaping Read and interpret blueprints. Set up machines by installing tooling, adjusting parameters, and calibrating equipment. Conduct measurements during machining processes to verify gear dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience Experience operating gear cutting machinery is a plus. Will train the right candidate. Must be able to read blueprints Familiarity with measurement tools including micrometers Basic math skills Basic knowledge of machining tools such as cutters, grinders, hand tools, power tools.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
