Overview Industry Industrial Location Merrill, MI Branch Number 20072 Hourly Rate $23 - $40 Job Description PRST is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a full-time opportunity at an industrial manufacturing facility in Merrill, MI.
Per Diem:
$130 per day worked
Day Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30
PM Night Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 4:15 PM-4:45
AM Weekend Shift:
Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-5:00
PM Hours:
Most candidates can expect 50+ hours per week, with additional overtime opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
Perform advanced CNC setup operations and adjust machine tools to run provided programs. Adjust and check CNC programming as needed. Operate CNC machine tools through complex, progressive machining operations. Adjust speeds and feeds during machining operations. Follow programming instructions, operational data, and machine setup instructions. Set up tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations, and console settings. Perform machining operations including boring, milling, drilling, facing, threading, profiling, and contouring. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed. Operate more than one CNC machine simultaneously when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Previous CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience performing CNC machine setups and adjustments. Ability to read and follow CNC programs, setup instructions, and technical documentation. Ability to adjust speeds, feeds, tooling, and machine settings. Experience with machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, facing, and threading. Ability to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines when required. Willingness to work extended hours and overtime as needed. #VHPA The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $40/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
