🛠 Grinder / Shop Labor Hands‑On Manufacturing | Variety Every Day | Prototype Environment Looking for a shop role where no two days are the same ? Join our team and work in a specialty manufacturing environment fabricating custom rubber rollers used in a wide range of industrial machines. Every roller is built to unique specifications—meaning this job rewards critical thinking, precision, and problem‑solving . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys manual machining , wants exposure to CNC lathe setups , and thrives in a prototype-style shop rather than repetitive production work. 🔧 What You'll Do Fabricate custom rubber rollers to precise measurements using manual machining techniques. Set up and operate CNC lathes in a low‑volume, high‑variety environment. Apply critical thinking to solve unique fabrication challenges —no cookie‑cutter parts here. Measure and inspect parts using manual micrometers and other precision tools. Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications accurately. Collaborate with team members to keep the shop running efficiently. Assist in other shop areas as needed to support production goals. ✅ What We're Looking For Required Skills Strong math and measurement skills. Experience using manual micrometers . Mechanical aptitude with hands‑on shop tools. Ability to think critically and solve problems independently. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer skills and written communication. Preferred Qualifications GED or High School Diploma. Experience in machining, military, manufacturing, or logistics . Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
