Job Title:

CNC Machinist Job Description This role requires a skilled CNC Machinist to handle daily setups and operation of CNC milling and CNC lathe machines in a dynamic job shop environment. The position involves machining a variety of short-run and custom parts made from mild steel and stainless steel, necessitating frequent changeovers and independent work. Responsibilities Interpret prints and travelers to guide machining operations. Perform full machine setups for CNC milling and lathe machines. Load and prove out programs efficiently. Set tooling and offsets accurately. Make in-process adjustments to ensure precision. Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday. Essential Skills Proficiency in CNC machining, including setup and operation. Experience with CNC lathe and CNC mill. Skill in programming, setup, offsets, and tool changes. Ability to work independently and with high attention to detail. Expertise in manual CNC operations, including Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, and manual mill. Competence in interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a job shop environment is preferred. High attention to detail is essential. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
