$65,000 - $95,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, workholding, and fixtures. Set tool offsets, work offsets, speeds, feeds, and other machine parameters. Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality. Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Work closely with programmers, engineers, and other machinists to improve setups, quality, and productivity. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
