Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and machine programming will be essential to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders, ensuring accurate configuration for each job Program CNC equipment using G-code, M-code, CAM software, and Mazatrol controls to produce precise components Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T specifications, to determine machining requirements Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes Perform machine calibration, tooling changes, and adjustments to optimize machining performance Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production runs, and inspection results Troubleshoot machining issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines with Fanuc or similar controls Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with CAM programming is a plus Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and understanding GD&T standards Familiarity with machining tools, manual machining techniques, grinders, and hand tools for setup and maintenance Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately Experience with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators for quality inspection Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to measurements and tolerances Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency in production processes Ability to work safely with power tools, tooling equipment, and metalworking machinery while adhering to safety protocols Join our team as a CNC Machinist if you are passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to contribute your technical skills in a dynamic environment.
