Contemporary Worship Music Leader - Cumberland Presbyterian Church (Marshall, TX) About the Role Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marshall is seeking a Contemporary Worship Music Leader who loves people, loves music, and feels called to help lead others into meaningful worship. You do not have to be a seasoned worship leader — if you have musical ability, a heart for ministry, and a willingness to grow, we'd love to talk with you. We worship as two congregations united as one diverse church family , and being bilingual in English & Spanish is a major plus. This role includes leading music for our English and Spanish services, coordinating with musicians and singers, and helping create an engaging, Spirit‑led worship experience each week. Responsibilities Select and prepare songs for both English and Spanish services that align with worship themes. Prepare musical arrangements, choose keys, and plan transitions for Sunday services. Choose and organize lyrics for projector presentations each week. Lead weekly rehearsals with musicians and vocalists. Provide musical leadership each Sunday, helping guide the congregation in worship. Play piano or guitar during services (or serve alongside a guitarist partner). Collaborate with church staff to integrate worship themes with sermon series and church events. Qualifications Ability to play piano or guitar confidently in a worship setting. Experience selecting contemporary worship songs (formal worship‑leading experience not required). Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating rehearsals and Sunday services. Ability to prepare music efficiently for multiple services. A heart for ministry and a desire to foster an inclusive, spiritually enriching worship environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus.

$200.00 - $300.00 per week
