Job Description

BMC Global Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team on 2nd Shift (4:00 PM - 2:00 AM) . The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for the aerospace, energy, and industrial sectors. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Haas, Mazak, or similar). Programming is a plus. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols. Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code edits as needed. Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools. Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds/speeds to optimize production. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering when necessary. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications 5+ years of CNC milling experience (3-axis or 4-axis). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials. Experience with precision measurement tools. Basic knowledge of G-code programming (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificate a plus. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Preferred Skills Experience with Haas controls. Familiarity with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
