CNC Machinist - Experienced Professional Compensation $35-45 per hour (DOE) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating and programming various CNC machines and will be responsible for producing precision parts according to specifications. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (10+ years preferred). 5+ years of Mastercam software experience. Proficient with CNC Mill operations (Vertical, Horizontal, and 5-axis). Strong experience with CNC Lathe operations. Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery. Experience with quality control and inspection procedures. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and EDM equipment. Program CNC machines using Mastercam software. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining. Verify dimensions of finished products using precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.
