Finishing Operator (1st Shift) - Chandler Isola Group - 2.5 Chandler, AZ Job Details Full-time $20.75 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Writing skills Full Job Description Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 1st Shift Finishing Operator at our Chandler, AZ Location.
Schedule:
6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required)
Compensation:
$20.75 per hour
THE ROLE
The Finishing Operator is responsible to convert master sheets to panels or sheets according to production work orders. The operator will be required to operate automated or semi-automated cutting equipment and inspect the product for conformance to customer and industry specifications. Additionally, this role is responsible for performing and cross-training in several skill level A-B positions. This includes but is not limited to Finishing Operating/Inspecting, Packing, HiPot, and Material Handling.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, program and operate automated equipment according to customer requirements directed by the work order. Ensure that the set up and operation of automated and support equipment is done efficiently. Perform inspection of the material; ensuring material is cut according to the customer's request and work order. Reports any anticipated issues, work stoppage, or equipment downtime or any other problems and interruptions in the work flow to the operations leader. Maintain complete and accurate records for material usage and product traceability within the SAP inventory tracking system for all materials used during the process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous machine operating experience preferred High School Diploma or General Education Diploma Ability to work in a fast-paced environment effectively under pressure and collaborate with others Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Forklift Experience Preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
Ability to stand up to 10 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
