This role involves operating and monitoring packaging machinery, inspecting finished products for quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Duties Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and operation throughout shifts. Inspect packaged products for defects, proper labeling, and adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production. Handle materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools safely. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to GMP guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document production data accurately, including quantities produced and inspection results. Assist in material handling tasks within the warehouse or production area as needed. Support compliance with safety standards in production environments by identifying hazards and reporting concerns. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Prior experience operating packaging machinery or similar industrial equipment preferred. Knowledge of food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous. Familiarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is required. Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality checks are essential. Experience troubleshooting mechanical or equipment issues in an industrial setting is highly desirable. Understanding of safety standards in production environments, including GMP compliance. Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain safety protocols at all times.
