Assembly Associate -
Lighting Products Position Summary:
The Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling lighting fixtures and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and maintaining quality standards to ensure safe and functional lighting products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble lighting fixtures, housings, and components according to work instructions Perform basic wiring of LED components, drivers, and connectors Use hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimpers) Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Follow diagrams, blueprints, and production travelers Package finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S standards) Report defects, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards
Qualifications:
6+ months of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical assembly Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams Good attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electrical or LED assembly Familiarity with wiring, crimping, and connectors Understanding of basic quality control processes
Work Environment:
