This is a high-priority position for a candidate who can independently set up jobs, optimize machining processes, troubleshoot equipment, and help maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards are met.

Set up CNC machines to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Produce acceptable first-article parts and ensure setups are capable of maintaining quality standards. Make machine adjustments and offsets independently. Operate CNC machines as required. Create and modify fixtures to improve efficiency and part quality. Optimize cycle times by adjusting programs, speeds, and feeds. Troubleshoot machine issues and assist with machine repairs and maintenance. Communicate effectively with Production Management and Scheduling to support workflow planning. Assist with quality control activities, including creating inspection and check sheets. Train, mentor, and support new setup personnel. Monitor new tooling implementations to ensure proper cutting parameters are used. Follow through on equipment and tooling issues to resolution, including coordinating outside repairs or replacement purchases when necessary. Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Foreman.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a job shop environment. Experience with Mill equipment preferred. Ability to independently perform machine setups and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with:
Fanuc Controls, Celos Controls, G-Code Programming, Mastercam, CIMCO Edit and/or Visual Studio Code (VS Code). Trade school or formal machining education is preferred but may be substituted with equivalent job shop experience.
Schedule:
6am-2:30pm
Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
