We are seeking a Machine Operator to support our production team. You will be responsible for operating machine, finishing, inspecting, and packaging plastic products. •Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment Visa at this time . Essential Job Functions Reads and understands operator work instructions and sample boards which display actual samples Operates equipment in accordance with instructions and ensures safe operation of assigned equipment Uses hand cutting tools such as cutters, exacto and de-gating knives Maintains and reports production counts Visually inspects parts for defects and assembles components to molded parts Packages and labels parts correctly Maintains a clean and safe work area Communicates with lead person on quality related issues, work instructions, production counts and discrepancies, supplies, shortage, production requirements, unsafe conditions, equipment problems, etc. Informs relieving shift operator and discusses changes, quality problems, etc. Requirements Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High School Diploma or GED equivalent and minimum 6 months of work experience Ability to read/understand basic instructions and do basic arithmetic calculations Frequent mental and visual concentration required while waiting on machines to complete cycles, inspection of parts, etc. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and color vision Requires constant attention to prevent injury to self and co-workers and damage to equipment Requires standing, repeated reaching and twisting, hand movement throughout entire shift Requires lifting and moving materials of up to 25 lbs Works in an environment that may be uncomfortable, dusty, and loud.
