Responsibilities:
Operate the Kinetic
K5000 CNC
machine efficiently, ensuring high-quality production. Understand and adjust CNC programs to optimize machine performance and output. Set up and maintain plasma cutting torches, ensuring they are correctly configured for each program. Control drilling operations, adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary for optimal results. Accurately measure components using tape measures and micrometers to ensure compliance with specifications. Interpret and read simple part drawings to guide machine operations. Utilize crane equipment to move large plates safely and efficiently, with training provided if needed. Perform routine maintenance on the Kinetic K5000 to ensure longevity and peak performance.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience with CNC machines preferred, particularly with the Kinetic K5000, though training is available for the right candidate.
Skills:
Basic understanding of plasma cutting torches and willingness to learn more. Experience or willingness to learn drilling operations, including speed and feed adjustments. Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures and micrometers. Basic ability to read and understand part drawings. Experience with crane operations is a plus, but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
