Job Overview We are a No Fee staffing agency, a Drug-Free Workplace / EEOC. Shift is 4pm-2:30am Monday to Thursday and overtime sometimes Friday. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with CNC and manual machines, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining our commitment to precision, safety, and manufacturing excellence. Duties Operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools, ensuring precise adherence to specifications. Set up and calibrate machinery such as press brakes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and other fabrication equipment. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately to guide machining and fabrication processes. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify product quality. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow. Maintain safety standards in production environments by following proper procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment; assist in packaging finished products for shipment. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling adjustments, and quality control measures. Document production activities accurately while adhering to shop math principles for measurements and calculations. Experience Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, or similar industrial equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code), CAM programming software, SolidWorks or similar CAD tools. Experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a focus on quality control and safety standards. Hands-on experience with tooling setup, fabrication processes, materials handling, and assembly operations. Knowledge of shop math principles including measurements, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and dimensional accuracy. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently using industrial troubleshooting techniques. Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with packaging procedures is advantageous. Basic proficiency in hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments is essential for quality assurance.
