Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MDS (Manure Drying System) Operator. The MDS Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring the Manure Drying System to ensure efficient processing and drying of manure. This position oversees daily system operations, monitors equipment performance, performs routine inspections and cleaning, and identifies or reports equipment issues to help maintain continuous and safe operation. The MDS Operator is also responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all company safety, biosecurity, environmental, and sanitation procedures. Essential Duties Daily machines start up Manure belt observation while in operation Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping back of the house and barn, shoveling and pumping pits. Report any machine breakdowns Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers Do all tasks assigned by members of management Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed. Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
