Saw & Drill / Fabrication

Position is within a metal fabrication company. Job duties may vary depending on production requirements.

Machine Operation:

Set up, adjust, and operate saws (bandsaws, circular saws) and drill presses to cut or bore materials to specifications

Measurement & Accuracy:

Read blueprints, work orders, and utilize measuring tools (Tape measure, calipers) to ensure precise cuts and hole placement.

Material Handling:

Load, secure and unload raw materials (bar stock, tubing, sheets) into machinery, often using overhead cranes or forklifts.

Safety & Organization:

Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE), maintain a clean workspace, and manage hazardous materials

Requirements and Qualifications:

Manufacturing Experience is a plus

Experience:

Generally requires 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, interpret job orders, and perform basic math functions.

Physical Strength:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move materials weighing 50-70 lbs. Attention to Quality Attention to Safety Ability to use

Hand & Power Tools Work Schedule:

8:00 AM-4:30 PM M-F Hours may vary due to production requirements resulting in required overtime (e.g. daily start time of 6:00 AM) Weekends may be required per production requirements
