ABOUT THE ROLE
The Machine Operator position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring overall product quality, and required to assist other operators when necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the finished product within the guidelines set in the product specifications.
Report all problems and equipment issues that may inhibit production to the immediate supervisor.
May be required to operate a lift truck, power, or air tool to accomplish designated tasks.
Assist in troubleshooting and the overall production process.
Work with other trades personnel and management personnel to maintain continuous plant operations/performance.
Delegate tasks to roofing production employees.
Provide feedback to the Supervisor.
Ensure all product testing is done and recorded.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Assist with maintenance when necessary.
Assist with the start-up of the Production Line.
Regular and predictable attendance is essential in this role.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree
Field of Study Preferred:

Required Work Experience:
At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Additional Requirements:
General knowledge of the production process and operating various types of equipment is valuable. Must have strong communication skills working within a diverse population.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
