Work Schedule First Shift (Days) Environmental Conditions Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Safety Standards, Cleanroom:
no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers- 22degreesF
- 6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.
Job Description Discover Impactful Work:
As a Packaging/Labeling Supervisor at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll manage a team responsible for ensuring clinical pharmaceutical products are packaged and labeled with the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll oversee 20-40 employees across multiple production lines, applying Good Manufacturing Principles while demonstrating our core values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement. This role combines technical expertise with people leadership, as you'll be responsible for daily operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and developing your team's capabilities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, optimize processes, and ensure timely delivery of critical pharmaceutical products that support healthcare outcomes.Location:
US- Indianapolis, IN

- Friday, 6:30 AM

Life:

Success:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in GMP environment with 2 years supervisory skills. Minimum of 3 years of related GMP environment and Packaging experience Demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions Visual acuity to perform quality inspections and color vision requirements Must be available to work overtime as needed Experience using manufacturing/quality systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to implement process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in a deadline-driven environment Able to work in varying temperature environments.Preferred Qualifications:
