A worker is responsible for the all-around day-to-day operations of the processing department's incoming and outgoing product. Their duties include moving pumps, moving sauce, loading finished products into containers. The Processing Operator is responsible for following GMPs and will report to the Processing Operator Supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities :

Load and unload incoming and outbound bulk trucks outdoors. Hand load shipping containers. Transfer mash from one tank to another. Set up totes and barrels to fill with products. Fill totes or barrels with finished products or products that need blending, and band to pallets. Rinse, clean, and sanitize empty tanks and fill lines. Repair pallets as needed. May be required to fill in during absence of another employee in production areas. Assist Mixers pumping or dumping ingredients into mixing tanks. Wash top of tanks walls and floors around mixing areas. Build or Repair Transfer hoses as needed. Throw trash from mixing room and surrounding area. Discard broken boards from pallets to trash pile. Clean yard area and keep straight. Pressure wash tank area as needed. Turn on and off blower to rotate mash. Assist in quarterly inventory counts. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Work with others in a team building setting. Capable of multi-tasking and working in a changing work environment. Must be able interpret and communicate clear and precise directions to others. Must be able to work outdoors. Must be able to work and think independently when necessary. Maintain safe work area.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience is preferred. On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting 50lbs max occasionally. Standing for an extended period. Walking regularly. Climbing ladders and stairs.
