Job Description

Hi-Tech Mold & Tool, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and high quality output. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and consistency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator will produces, assembles, inspects and packages parts that conform to defined quality standards and meets required production schedule. They will also be responsible for running and operating different machines, apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, plastics properties, layout, and machining procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working with tools, equipment, and production schedules while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Communicates to ensure seamless shift transitions Keeps accurate records of production and scrap using the Job Costing Sheet Ensures all components, supplies, fixtures and safety equipment are available Understands quality requirements from the shift inspector Inspects parts and communicates all concerns to appropriate employees Performs secondary operations at the press, such as de-gating, trimming, and/or assembly to meet specifications Performs secondary operations such as sonic welding, inserting, riveting and/or pad printing Package parts per instructions Notify Supervisor/Manager, Facilitator or Technician of any changes or concerns regarding the process, molded part or scrap rate. Operators should not make any changes to machine or molds. Maintains clean and organized work area Perform with precision as a production machinist. Use a combination of jigs, fixtures and assemblies to perform machining operations. Work to close tolerances. Operate lathes performing complex and very close tolerance operations in turning, facing, boring, chamfering, recessing and form turning on a wide variety of production parts. Operate Machining Centers (Milling Machines) performing complex and very close tolerance operations in facing, milling, drilling, and boring on a wide variety of production parts Measures, examines and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Pay:
$17.50 - $26.00 per hour
