Now Hiring a Machine Operator Job Description In this role, you'll operate advanced CNC press brake equipment to transform sheet metal into high-quality components used in a variety of industries. If you enjoy working with technology based machinery, reading blueprints, and seeing the results of your work take shape, this is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in a modern production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Program and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production. Inspect finished parts to verify quality and specifications. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Complete production records and support continuous improvement efforts. Essential Skills 1+ year of press brake, punch press, sheet metal fabrication, or related manufacturing experience. Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions. Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Required PPE:
steel-toed boots (employee provided), safety glasses (company provided) Structured onboarding with dedicated training during your first week before joining the production team Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
