Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art CNC (Computer Numerical Control) laser cutting equipment to precisely cut and shape metal and sheet metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise in machine setup, programming, and quality measurement will ensure efficient production of high-quality parts. Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce accurate parts from metal sheets and tubes. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to maximize equipment uptime and performance. Measure finished products using precision measurement instruments to verify conformance with quality standards. Adjust machine parameters and tooling based on measurement feedback and production requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and safety protocol adherence. Collaborate with team members on machine operation, setup, forming processes, and assembly tasks as needed. Experience Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or plasma cutters. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately. Familiarity with CNC programming languages and software used for laser cutting operations. Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills, and measurement techniques for quality control purposes. Experience working with various tools including hand tools, measuring instruments, forming machines, welding equipment, press brake machines, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Understanding of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace. Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication tools and perform precision measurement for quality inspection purposes. Prior experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication industries is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new skills is valued. Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
