The purpose of the Die Setter is to set sample & production tooling, auxiliary equipment and make work stations ready to run. Maintain tool condition and perform basic tool preventive maintenance. Assist as directed by Foreman. Die Setter as instructed will follow and enforce all company standard, policies, and instructions. Must have experience setting molds in the plastics field. Pull and set-up sample and production tooling Make all auxiliary equipment and work station ready for production Read write set-up information on process set-up sheets Perform machine and tool preventive maintenance as directed Die Setter will remove the finished tool from the press and set-in the new tool, water up and add all required auxiliary equipment per process set-up sheets. Oversee that the entire are is ready for production by coordinating with custodian nd material handler.
