Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The primary role of the Assembler is to assemble components that will be used within the machine build. The scope of this role includes (but is not limited to) the following: Reading a BOM (Bill of Materials) to understand what components are required for each assembly Gathering the needed materials together from various locations in the shop to prepare them for assembly Using visual and functional testing methods to confirm that all components meet our quality standards Place non-compliant components in our material review area for further review by our MRB team Utilize shop tools/machinery/equipment to prepare and/or modify parts as needed in preparation for the build Assemble the components in accordance with our production standards Use measurement devices and other tools/aids to ensure that assemblies conform to required specifications Utilize quality control checklists to verify that all critical assembly operations have been completed Submit final paperwork to have sub-assemblies produced within our ERP system Continually review component inventory levels and submit the proper notification when replenishment is needed In addition to the tasks outlined above, the role will also require the following: An openness to learning new things and expanding upon your skills/abilities within the assembly (and other) areas The ability to work independently while also supporting the other team members Engage in discussions with team members and others (including Continuous Improvement staff) to find ways to improve processes Promote a positive work environment by being respectful of others maintaining a can-do attitude Pride in workmanship and a passion for meeting/exceeding customer requirements/expectations

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
