Job Description

Machine Operator
  • 2nd Shift 2nd Shift
  • Full time Monday 3:00pm-1:45am ;Tuesday
  • Thursday:
    3:20pm
  • 1:45am
Work Activities:
Responsible for operation of pre-fab equipment and tube laser, flat laser or CNC tube bender. Ensuring accuracy of jobs being run by verifying parts. Maintaining complete and accurate time documentation on all jobs. Ability to plan jobs during shift for most efficient and productive manner. Read and understand layouts, job packets for lasered components. Read and understand blueprints This is a safety sensitive position.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have minimum 3 years in machine operation roles. Previous laser experience preferred. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to work both independently with little supervision and also within a team-based environment to accomplish all aspects of welding and fabrication. Set up work to be performed in an efficient manner. Inspect work performed to meet tolerances per prints. Maintain a clean work area. Work with quality and efficiency as priorities. Communication with shift lead any machine problems or issues for maintenance. Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize work and reliability. Must be able to bend, twist, climb and lift up to 50 pounds. Knowledge in use of measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Safety sensitive position
