Job Summary:

The Jacquard Weaver is responsible for operating and maintaining Jacquard looms to produce high-quality woven fabrics, including mattress tapes and mattress ticking, according to production schedules and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a strong understanding of textile weaving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor Jacquard looms to produce woven materials according to design and quality specifications. Inspect woven goods for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality. Thread, tie-in, and change yarns or warps as required for new runs or color changes. Maintain proper loom operation by performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical or yarn-related issues to minimize downtime. Follow all safety and production procedures to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Work closely with the weaving supervisor and quality control team to ensure product standards are met. Record production data and report any machine or quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating Jacquard or dobby looms, preferably in a textile manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of weaving techniques, yarn types, and fabric construction. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor loom adjustments and maintenance. Attention to detail with strong quality awareness. Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical aspects of the job, such as lifting beams or yarn packages. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. #LIND26
