JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a team player who can work CNC program assignments; also, should possess some mechanical aptitude in regard to machine tool maintenance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Able to setup vertical and horizontal, CNC Mills and lathes
  • Knowledge of cutting tools and basic G and M codes
  • Able to prove out programs Interpret prints, drawings verbal instructions and process sheets
  • Must be able to use basic machining measuring instruments i.e. calipers, micrometers
  • Indicators, bore gages and be able to observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as warn or damaged cutting tools
  • Confer with engineering department group to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Confer with workers in other departments to provide technical information
  • Swiss lathe knowledge is a plus
  • Follow company policies procedures and protocols
  • Identify and promptly report any safety hazards or issues
  • 11pm-7am
