This position is in the powder area , and you'll be required to wear a respirator while working. What You'll Do Perform machine shop and press operations Operate production equipment such as press machines, braid winders, lathes, or crimping machines Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturing drawings Record production counts (good & scrap) accurately Use hand tools like screwdrivers and drill guns Maintain workstation inventory and complete quality checks Identify defects and report issues Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot basic quality problems Follow all safety, housekeeping, and productivity standards Physical & Environmental Requirements Lift up to 35 lbs regularly Perform repetitive tasks and manual assembly Stand, sit, stoop, bend, and reach overhead Work in an environment with constant noise, dust, grease, and oils Must be comfortable handling hazardous materials (MSDS) Skills & Experience Ability to read tape measures and basic measuring devices Machine Operator experience preferred Basic reading and math skills Ability to follow directions and use hand tools Strong reasoning and problem‑solving ability Must speak and understand English HS/GED required Additional Requirements Must pass a background check Must pass a drug test Must be willing to work overtime
