Key Responsibilities Assist in setup and adjustments of machine to run customer order. Prepare board for feeding into press: open board units, remove top sheets, and remove all load tags. Monitor quality of board going into the press and quality of product being produced, alerting the Machine Operator immediately of any problems in input, output, or other possible problems observed during production. Works from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, work orders, and drawings. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. Must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required. Ability to speak sufficient English to communicate clearly with supervisors and managers. Full understanding of all safety requirements for production as Packaging. Basic computer skills are a must. Print experience is a big plus. Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of material and product up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
