Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Saw Operator for our night shift team. In this role, you will operate various saws and cutting machinery to produce precise components according to technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and accurate manufacturing processes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Operate saw machines, including band saws, circular saws, and other cutting equipment, to accurately cut materials based on production orders and technical drawings Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine cutting dimensions and specifications Set up and adjust machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and CAM programming tools for optimal performance Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot industrial machinery issues promptly to minimize downtime Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed Skills Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and interpreting G-code or similar control language Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and fabrication techniques Experience with shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory safety standards Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification preferred Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software for technical drawing interpretation Hands-on experience with welding, tooling setup, materials handling, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and dimensional accuracy Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately Join our team as a Saw Operator on the night shift to play a vital role in delivering precise components that meet our high-quality standards.
