Position Description:
Public Restroom Company designs, builds, and installs prefabricated restrooms and related buildings for parks and outdoor spaces. We are currently looking for a hoddie to join our team full-time at our Minden, NV, located factory to assist with laying brick and concrete block for our buildings. •Not from the Minden/Carson area? We offer transportation from Reno to the Minden plant! Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned: Clean buildings (interior and exterior) as needed, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up trash, and preparing buildings for installation. Set up and tear down scaffolding as needed. Shrink wrap buildings once buildings are ready to ship. Use scissor lift and extended height ladders to reach extended heights when wrapping, cleaning, and preparing buildings. Use heavy equipment such as a forklift to clear debris and move blocks and other heavy materials. Perform a variety of manual labor tasks incidental to trade and craft work requiring application of knowledge and experience gained on similar assignments. Remains alert for hazards involved on the job site and observe OSHA safety, MSHA and operating rules and regulations. Requirements/Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1+ years of construction experience Basic knowledge of bricklaying techniques and procedures. Basic knowledge of blueprints, plans, and specifications Must be comfortable in a factory setting Cross-trained in other functions/skills such as other trade work Highschool diploma/equivalent, preferred. Prior forklift certification, preferred.
