Machine Operator Lackawanna, NY Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Profit sharing Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Defect detection (quality control) Finished product defect inspection Maintaining an organized workspace Machine operation Rotational molding High school diploma or GED Quality control Machine operation experience (1-2 years) Manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance Machine operator experience Hand tools Manufacturing company experience Mechanical knowledge Entry level Full Job Description Job Overview Operate an automatic Roto Mold machine that will produce quality products Responsibilities Read and understand procedures to produce products Ensure all supplies and tools are available at machine prior to shift Prepare molds - clean vent tubes, parting lines and replace breather material prior to the start of every cycle Demold mold part and direct it to the trim cells Trim, drill, deburr products if required after they are molded Check product quality for any defects and report quality issues to Supervisor Meet machine cycle time targets and keep machine operating efficiently in cycle Handle molds and equipment with necessary care to preserve integrity of items Assist with mold changes as required Maintain a clean and organized work station Ensure PPE is worn/used at all times Perform other duties a required Skills Experience using hand tools, air tools and electrical tools Familiar with a high speed manufacturing setting Mechanical knowledge is an asset Quality control techniques is an asset Grade 12, or equivalent, completed Perform repetitive movements Stand, bend and work in a controlled mfg cell Ability to work independently or as part of a team Self motivated Problem solve

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
