We are seeking a CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering lumber, building materials, and other construction products to residential and commercial job sites throughout Western New York. The ideal candidate has experience operating a truck-mounted Moffett forklift (training available for the right candidate), takes pride in customer service, and values working as part of a team. • Safely operate a CDL Class A truck in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
• Deliver lumber, drywall, roofing, decking, windows, doors, and other building materials to customer job sites.
• Operate a truck-mounted Moffett forklift to load, unload, and place materials accurately and safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Secure loads properly and ensure materials arrive in excellent condition.
• Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every delivery.
• Assist with loading trucks and organizing materials when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck and work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Moffett forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Building materials or lumber yard experience is a plus. What We Offer
