On-Call Distillery Packaging Towpath Distillery Akron, OH Job Details Part-time $17.50 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our Distillery team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong ability to follow directions, perform consistently, and to lift 45lb boxes repeatedly throughout the shift. Packager will work closely with various management to maintain quality and safety throughout the packaging process. We are a small but growing operation. This position is "On-Call" because we may need your help a few days one week, and then not again for maybe a few weeks. This job is perfect for people who have day-time availability and want to make a little extra money here and there. Responsibilities Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package products according to specifications. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and OHLQ Standards and TTB standards during the packaging process. Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Assist in assembly tasks as needed, ensuring that all components are correctly packaged. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Operate forklifts safely for the movement of materials within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively. Ability to Lift 45 lb boxes repeatedly. Able to work on your feet for an entire shift. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
