Non-Exempt Modern Plastic Recovery, a HDPE recycling facility, is looking to add two members to our team!
CHECK THIS OUT 4
day work week! Monday-Thursday 6 am•4 pm Sign on bonus of $1000 after 90 working days! Starting wage $21 with potential for an increase around 90 days.
SUMMARY:
The shredder operator is responsible for operating the shredder production line along with loading bales into Metzo shredder. The shredder operator performs their duties as if they are the owner of the company and makes safety, quality and production the top 3 areas of focus, in the order listed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attend the daily stretch and bend meeting with the entire shift. 2. Assure that all company Safety Program Policies are being followed at all times. 3. Run the shredder production line, and keep the bales supplied at all times with material. 4. Record proper production output numbers. 5. Assist other production lines and employees as needed. 6. Monitors that quality is being met on all products that are being produced. 7. Maintain a clean and safe work area. 8. Perform other related duties as assigned. 9. The responsibilities listed are not inclusive. They might be changed, items added or deleted depending on the needs of the company at that time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Self-motivated person that does not need a lot of supervision 2. Good people skills 3 . Dependable and team oriented 4 . Able to learn new skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Have a high school diploma or equivalent 1•3 years in manufacturing 1-2 years of maintenance
