• Job Description
• The Secondary Operations Technician supports production by loading tubing into machinery, performing precise visual and dimensional inspections, and following documented procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

This role involves standing for extended periods, using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures, and carefully documenting inspection results in a clean, controlled environment.

• Responsibilities
• + Load tubing into production machines safely and efficiently, ensuring proper alignment and setup.

+ Perform visual inspections of finished tubing to identify defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming products. + Use measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to verify product dimensions and tolerances. + Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks according to established procedures and work orders. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work orders, and minimal GMP requirements with high attention to detail. + Document inspection results and production information accurately and legibly. + Handle and manipulate tubing and components with strong hand dexterity to support assembly and mechanical operations. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a controlled environment setting. + Raise arms above head and perform repetitive motions as needed to load materials and operate equipment. + Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and quality targets. + Identify and report any equipment, material, or quality issues to appropriate personnel. + Support general production and mechanical assembly tasks as needed to ensure continuous workflow.

• Essential Skills
• + Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

+ Strong hand dexterity for handling tubing, components, and tools. + Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. + Experience performing visual inspections for quality assurance and quality control. + Ability to follow SOPs, work orders, and documented procedures accurately. + Attention to detail when inspecting parts and documenting results. + Basic machine operation skills related to loading and running production equipment. + Capability to raise arms above head and perform repetitive tasks safely. + High school diploma or equivalent education.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience in a controlled environment or cleanroom-style production setting.

+ Experience in general production, assembly, or mechanical assembly work. + Familiarity with minimal GMP requirements and structured quality systems. + Comfort using basic hand tools in a production or assembly environment. + Strong focus on detail and quality-oriented mindset. + Ability to work effectively on a second shift schedule. + Reliable attendance and commitment to following safety and quality standards.

• Work Environment
• This role is based in a very clean and tidy controlled production environment that follows minimal GMPs and SOPs.

While not a full cleanroom, the facility maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization. The position operates on second shift, typically from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work involves standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, and frequent use of measuring devices and hand tools around production machinery. Team members are expected to follow all safety, quality, and procedural guidelines to maintain a consistent and well-controlled workspace.

• This is a Contract position based out of Easton, PA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $19.

50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
